Praying with the Songs of Taizé - a Music Workshop

January 20 @ 12:30 - 4 p.m.
All Saints Parish, 1415 Royal York Road

For those interested in learning more about the music of Taizé and how to animate a prayer with the songs of Taizé, join the Office of Catholic Youth on Saturday, January 20th at All Saints Parish.

The half-day workshop will be led by Janet Loo, a talented musician and choir director who has herself led music in Taizé, France. The workshop will run from 12:30 until 4:00 p.m. and will include an opportunity to rehearse as well as learn about and participate in the prayer.

Joint Young Adult & Youth Minister Retreat

Manresa Retreat House in Pickering
Becoming aware of the Love of God
at work in our lives

Begin the new year with renewed energy and outlook by joining the Office of Catholic Youth on retreat January 12 & 13 in the beautiful setting of Manresa. Drawing on Pope Benedict XVI's encyclical Deus Caritas Est, retreat director, Fr. Len Altilia, SJ will guide us as we learn to discern God's love at work in our lives.

We are again offering an overnight option for those who wish to settle into the retreat the night before. Cost (including lunch and breakfast or snack) is $50 for overnight (arrival on 12th @ 7pm) and $20 for the Saturday only (arrival on 13th @ 9:30am).

A thought provoking social evening at the Duke of York Pub, 39 Prince Arthur Ave. near the St. George subway station (Bedford exit). Admission free. Munchies provided – cash bar. All young adults 19-39 are welcome.
