The Dead Sea Scrolls are widely considered among the greatest archaeological finds of the past century. They include the earliest written sources for the Hebrew Bible (Christian Old Testament), as well as other less well known writings. Many of the ideas and beliefs contained in this collection of ancient parchments have resonated through the centuries and remain influential today. Indeed, they reflect the foundations of important religions such as Judaism and Christianity and have influenced Islam.

Equip & Refresh Alpha Conference

The Equip & Refresh Alpha Conference is an opportunity to find out more about Alpha, and if your parish already is running Alpha an opportunity to take your course to the next level. This conference will bring together church leaders and their teams to provide delegates with a unique opportunity to meet people from other churches to share experiences and ideas through small group discussions and interactive sessions.

The Alpha course is a ten-week, practical introduction to the Christian faith. It is about exploring the big questions of life and connecting with others who are exploring too. It is a tried and tested way of introducing people to the historical person of Jesus in a non-threatening and welcoming way that works well with large or small groups in almost any setting.

25th Annual Italian Pilgrimage to
Martyrs' Shrine

The Italian Pastoral Commission is organizing the traditional pilgrimage to the Midland Shrine where the Main Celebrant will be Bishop Nicola De Angelis, C.F.I.C., Bishop of Peterborough.

The schedule is as follows:

10:30 a.m. Procession and Solemn celebration of the Holy Mass.
2:00 p.m. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and Rosary.

SONfest - Diocese of Peterborough's
Official Youth Festival

Theology of the Body: Discovering the Master Plan for Your Life
