This past spring, the H1N1 flu virus was first detected in Mexico. In a short period of time, the flu has spread to many countries, prompting the World Health Organization to declare the first global flu pandemic in 41 years this past June. It is important for all citizens to be diligent in caring for their own health and welfare but also for those with whom they interact.
As a faith community, our priority is the health and safety of our parishioners, clergy and staff. We continue to engage in regular dialogue with health officials at the municipal, provincial and federal levels. This page will provide updates and resources regarding H1N1 planning. You are encouraged to utilize the resources below. We offer our thoughts and prayers for all those who are sick and suffering in our community.
